Present Simple – Forms – Negative

We use don’t/doesn’t + infinitive to make questions. 

Note: In a more formal / written conversation, you would use do not / does not instead of the shortened version.

  • I don’t drive.  / I do not drive.
  • She doesn’t play tennis. / She does not play tennis.
Practice forming negative sentences in Present Simple:
He likes ice cream.
She doesn't like ice cream.
