There are several messy issues in this quiz: incorrect use of commas, repetition of subjects and wrong feedback. Sorry.
Hi Paula, I apologize, some questions were accidentally marked as single rather than multiple-choice answers. We went throught it and addressed them. Natalie
“She was sleeping deeply although the children were noisy.” This sentence was marked incorrect. With a comma after deeply, wouldn’t it be correct?
Thank you for your comment. The subordinate clause is second, so there is no comma. The sentence is correct. The rule is: If the subordinate clause comes first, we must separate them with a comma. There is no comme if the subordinate clause comes second.
The best learning website i ever found. Perhaps you could increase the difficulty a little bit.
Hi Raffa, thank you, we will take it into account and perhaps create a couple more quizzes that are harder. Natalie
